Clearwater Florida Latin Theme Entertainment
There are many annual events
which you can enjoy when you visit Clearwater, Florida. If you're
feeling fit, take part in the Florida Gulf Beaches Marathon.
Part of this qualifier for the
Boston Marathon takes place along the Clearwater waterfront.
In April, there's craft, food and live music on the beach at
the Sunset Beach Fest, as well as parades and shows as part of
the Fun N Sun Festival.
In October, Coachman Park hosts
the four day Jazz Holiday, which features musicians from around
the world. The city's Hispanic Heritage Festival is also held
in October. In November, thereís arts and crafts in Christmas
Under The Oaks, as well as a holiday parade in December.
There are also many events in
the Tampa and St Petersburg area such as the International Miniature
Art Show in the second half of January. One of the biggest annual
events in the area is the Gasparilla Pirate Festival, held in
January.
This event gets bigger every
year. To kick it off, a real (replica) pirate ship with 700 pirates
on board, sails into Tampa Bay to take over the city. There are
parades and more to make this a fun weekend.
Another major event is the Florida
State Fair in February, held just east of Tampa. Food and craft
are on offer at Mardi Gras in February or March, while in May
there is live music on offer in St Petersburg in Music Fest on
the Water. In October, visit Ybor City for a Halloween with a
difference as the Latin community hosts Guavaween. In the same
month, thereís the taste of Latino festival to get your
tastebuds tingling.
