Cocoa Beach Florida Latin Theme Entertainment
In addition to the attractions,
there's also plenty of year round entertainment in Cocoa Beach.
The year's events calendar starts
with the annual Space Coast Birding and Wildlife Festival, held
in January.
One of the most important birding
events in North America, this festival takes advantage of the
unique ecosystem in Cocoa Beach. Surfers get their share of the
limelight in August when the annual Cocoa Beach Surf Company
NKF Pro Am Surfing Festival takes place.
It's a full weekend of surfing
activity for professionals and amateurs and it's the biggest
such event on the East Coast.
If you want to find out more
about the Florida of long ago, then the Old Florida Fest is a
good place to start.
Held annually in October, this
festival features folk music and dancing, craftsmen, livestock
and much more. It's lots of fun. The Space Coast State Fair,
running from October to November, has 70 acres of fairground
rides, games, stalls and shows.
If youíre in Cocoa Beach
in October, you won't want to miss it. There are also great events
taking place in nearby Orlando, including the Viva Osceola Festival
in Kissimmee.
This celebration of Latin culture
is truly enjoyable. Earlier in the year, in September, the Mexican
Fiesta commemorates that country's independence with food, music
and more. Finally, take advantage of your location and try a
day cruise on a casino ship; you never know what you might win.
Port Canaveral is right next to Cocoa Beach, so you won't have
to go far to try your luck.
