Welcome to Key West Florida
Key West, Florida has a long
history of Hispanic influence, including a large population of
Cuban origin.
Its name is supposedly derived
from the Spanish Cayo Hueso (bone key), as it was presumed to
be an old burial ground.
Salsa enthusiasts will find that
it's a great place for dancing to Cuban music bands, listening
to Latin music or attending a Latin theme party, Cuban theme
party or Latin dance show.
Key West is an island which is
also the southernmost city in the US and it includes Fleming
Key, Sunset Key and part of Stock Island.

is also of strategic military importance. The Key West Naval
Air Station occupies some of the Key West landmass, using this
for training Navy pilots.
