Miami Beach Florida Latin Theme Entertainment
Salsa dancers will enjoy the
wide range of entertainment in South Beach and greater Miami.
Latin music, Cuban music and salsa dancing are on offer throughout
the year, with live music and bands too.
The Puerto Rican Plantain Festival
in January gives salsa fans the chance to enjoy tropical flavors
with a distinctive Caribbean tang. The city commemorates its
historical ties with Cuba in March with the Calle Ocho festival.
It's a great chance to listen
to some Latin music or Cuban music and hear some bands. You will
have a great time salsa dancing in the streets, soaking up the
culture and enjoying the food.
The Festival of the Americas
in October gives salsa fans another chance to boogie to the sounds
of the big bands. It's non-stop entertainment.
There's a lot more to do throughout
the year. If you love science, then visit the Miami Science Museum
once a month, where you can perform scientific experiments.
In June, the Florida Dance Festival
gives you a chance to put on your dancing shoes and enjoy some
thrilling performances.
Off the dance floor, salsa fans
can take in antiques at the Miami Beach Antique Show, which is
held in January. In February, you can gorge yourself at the South
Beach Wine and Food Festival. Follow the MIAMI CONGA LINE on MySpace!
There's more food on offer in
August at the Easter Seals Festival of Chefs, while September
offers the chance for more salsa action at the Afro Cuban Festival.
For those that enjoy dancing
salsa and afro-Cuban, Miami Beach is filled with Latin tropical
clubs, discos and lounges as part of area hotel resorts and other
places featuring the best Cuban dance music and retro electronica
music. There is always something happening every day of the week.
Check local listing for what's
