The Puerto Rican Plantain Festival
in January gives salsa fans the chance to enjoy tropical flavors
with a distinctive Caribbean tang. The city commemorates its
historical ties with Cuba in March with the Calle Ocho festival.
It's a great chance to listen
to some Latin music or Cuban music and hear some bands. You will
have a great time salsa dancing in the streets, soaking up the

The Festival of the Americas
in October gives salsa fans another chance to boogie to the sounds
of the big bands. It's non-stop entertainment.

gives you a chance to put on your dancing shoes and enjoy some

can take in antiques at the Miami Beach Antique Show, which is
held in January. In February, you can gorge yourself at the South
Beach Wine and Food Festival.
There's more food on offer in
August at the Easter Seals Festival of Chefs, while September
offers the chance for more salsa action at the Afro Cuban Festival.
