Orlando Florida Latin Theme Entertainment
Orlando features year round events,
so there's always plenty to do if you're looking for entertainment.
The annual Zora Neale Hurston
Festival of the Arts and Humanities, held in January offers a
change from salsa and Latin music. If your tastes run to the
classics, then the Bach Festival in February might appeal to
you.
That's been running since 1935.
March is the month for the Central Florida Fair, with carnival
rides and music. For a taste of the tropical scene, check out
the Caribbean carnival in May. You'll really enjoy the Mardi
Gras style street parade.
Latin music has influenced the
Caribbean, so you're sure to feel like dancing.
If a Latin dance show is what
you're looking for, then you're sure to enjoy the Cinco de Mayo
celebrations. There's live music and bands, and it's all free.
It's just the place for salsa dancers to strut their stuff.
There's even more Latin fun in
September, with a Mexican fiesta to commemorate that country's
history and decisions. It's Mexican rather than Cuban music,
but it's still great entertainment.
October is the month for family
fun, German style, with Oktoberfest events in both Kissimmee
and Celebration. You can also visit Lakefront Park in Kissimmee
to enjoy the Viva Osceola festival, a celebration of Latin culture.
It's definitely time for some
salsa dancing, and you can enjoy Latin food as well. Salsa aside,
Orlando is home to craft festivals, arts festivals, film festivals
and more, so you're never short of entertainment.
