St. Petersburg Florida Nightlife
When night falls in St Petersburg,
Cuban music, Latin music and plenty of salsa are on the horizon,
but why not start the evening's entertainment with a tasty meal?
The Ceviche Tapas Bar and Restaurant
offers cuisine from the north of Spain, along with live music.
Head over to Clearwater and check out the Columbia Restaurant.
Its tempting tapas menu includes
shrimp ajillo and queso fundido. Other great places to try include
Cafe Alma, which also offers vegetarian food, and Habana Cafe,
where the food has an authentic Cuban flavor.
There are also restaurants covering
a wide range of other cuisines, so salsa fans are sure to find
something to tempt the tastebuds.
Once you've eaten, it's time to check out the salsa action around
the city. St Pete really comes alive at night and salsa is a
big part of the nighttime action.
All through the week you can
dance and sometimes dine at clubs around the city or head to
nearby Tampa to find some more salsa action. If you have started
your night with a meal at Ceviche, why not stay for the rest
of the night? The last Saturday of every month is salsa night,
and you can start the evening with a lesson from a pro.
There are also plenty of salsa clubs in Tampa, such as the Babalu
Night Club. It's a bit of a squeeze, but definitely worth it.
Paracas has salsa Thursday to Sunday, so you can dance the weekend
away. You won't be able to stop moving.
