Welcome to St. Pertersburg Florida
St Petersburg, Florida was named
after the Russian city by one of its founders, but it has little
in common with the original St Petersburg.
Where one is known for snow and
ice, the Floridian city is known as the Sunshine City, thanks
to 360 days of sunshine a year. It's a warm, vibrant city with
tropical Caribbean temperatures, making it a great place for

Incorporated in 1892, St Pete, as it is known by residents, is

January temperatures are a balmy
70F while in July and August, the temperature is positively tropical
at 90F. It feels like the Caribbean, which is perfect for getting
in the salsa mood. The city lies between Tampa and the Gulf of
Mexico, giving it miles of beachfront coastline.

With many parks, lakes and beaches, St Petersburg is a great
place to visit. It has several major tourist attractions, including
galleries showcasing famous artists.
